The establishment of this college was the fulfilment of a long-cherished aspiration of the local community for greater access to higher education.
In response to the people’s request, the Government of Tamil Nadu issued G.O. Ms. No. 97 on 14 June 2013, paving the way for the establishment of the college. The institution was inaugurated on 13 September 2013 by the then Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Selvi J. Jayalalitha
Since its inception, the college has served as an important gateway to higher education, opening doors to knowledge, academic growth and a brighter future for young people in and around Peravurani.
